Recent Activities
1. Livestock Services Week Observance: On the occasion of Livestock Services Week, various services are provided by the Livestock Department for a week in the month of January every year. Free inoculation, treatment, distribution of improved grass cuttings, crossbreeding by improved bullock seeds. Also, awareness meetings, rallies, courtyard meetings etc. are organized.
2. Celebration of Public Service Day: On the occasion of National Public Service Day, various services are provided by Animal Husbandry Department throughout the day. Free inoculation, treatment, distribution of improved grass cuttings, crossbreeding by improved bullock seeds. Also, awareness meetings, rallies, courtyard meetings etc. are organized.
3. Special service on Victory Day: Every year on the occasion of Victory Day special service is provided by Animal Husbandry Department throughout the day.

4. NATP: Training is provided to 3 associations of each union under the NATP scheme. Selected farmers are provided free grass cultivation materials or cow feed, treatment, vaccination.

5. ULDC: Department of Livestock provided assistance in the construction of the project
6. Beef Cattle Development Project: Brahma is a breed of cattle famous for meat currently being produced in Bangladesh.

7. Field Day- Field day is organized after various technology exhibitions.

8. Training- Training is provided to the farmers of each union.

9. Others- Farm visits, conducting mobile courts.
